When the world was young, when the moon smiled down upon us all in our frivolities, when our biggest life struggles were acne and passing chemistry, we began “The Pape.” Some time in 2002 or 2003, when we were all in junior high, Mary Margaret took up writing on her brown paper lunch bags. Every day, she would empty the contents out onto the table and pass the bag around to all her friends.
Mary Margaret has always known that she was not the only, nor the most talented person among her friends. After a time, one girl’s brown paper bags turned into something more collaborative. Molly and Claire were obvious candidates for staff writers, and they quickly proved to be the most industrious, the most willing to sink their souls into something they were not graded on.
Fast forward more than ten years, and these three intrepid women have decided that being a grown up doesn’t mean that you have to give up on your childhood exploits. We’re excited to publish this, our alpha and beta release all in one, to you our close friends and family. If you have pointers you’d like to offer, we’d love to hear them. Otherwise, feel free to sit back and enjoy what we hope is at least entertaining, if not also something more.
